REX VIPER – First Concert (TooManyGames 2021)

Rex Viper at TooManyGames, Oaks PA, October 9, 2021. It was the band’s FIRST live show! Also the band had never fully met each other in-person to rehearse until only a few days before the show. For many of us, it was also our first public convention appearance since pre-pandemic. Everybody had a great time! And it was a rock n’ roll dream come true!

This is a multi-camera edit, using several of our own cameras (some owned by James, and some owned by Screenwave). Thanks to all those volunteers who operated the cameras for us. No clips from Youtube were used in this compilation, but there’s a lot out there worth checking out.

Set list:
1. Hearts on Fire (John Cafferty/ Vince DiCola cover) with Punch Out intro.
2. Mighty Wings (Cheap Trick cover) with Street Fighter 2 Ken theme.
3. Push it to the Limit (Paul Engemann cover) with Star Fox Corneria theme.
4. Power of Love (Huey Lewis cover) with Back to the Future theme and NES version.
5. The Touch (Stan Bush cover) with Double Dragon title theme and Duck Tales moon stage.
6. Eye of the Tiger Electronics (Survivor cover/parody) with Mega Man 2 Dr Wily stage 1.
