SQRXZ 2 – Sega Dreamcast – Box Art
“The Sequel to SQRXZ”
SQRXZ 2 is a notoriously hard—but addictingly satisfying—arcade-style platformer for the Dreamcast.
Overview
SQRXZ 2 is the sequel to the infamously challenging DOS-era platformer,
reimagined for the Dreamcast by the Retroguru team. First appearing in 1996, the series
was revived with new visuals, music, and modes in 2010. The Dreamcast port, handled by
Xavier “Indiket” Vallejo retains the high-frustration platforming while introducing
enhanced pixel art and chiptune audio.
