Black Friday is here, so skip the crowds and jump into the Cinemassacre Black Friday Sale from November 24 through December 1 on the Retroware store. The Cinemassacre NES Mystery Box also launches for the holidays. The box is designed like a Nerd themed NES and is made from thick collectible quality cardboard. Each box contains five random items pulled from past or present Cinemassacre merch, valued between one hundred and one hundred fifty dollars. You can choose whether or not your box includes a shirt. If you pick the “sans shirt” option, it will be replaced with an extra random item. No duplicates appear in a single box, although buying more than one may result in repeats. Hidden inside the first three hundred fifty boxes are twelve signed copies of A Movie Making Nerd with two placed in each shirt size category. All Mystery Boxes are final sale with no returns.
The AVGN 8 Bit Game is also still available for physical preorder at Limited Run Games for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and on actual NES cartridges, including limited color variants.
