From Ollie: Regarding the buttons, It’s more of a deliberate choice of phrasing on my part. I did mention it was a suspicion more than fact.
I hoping people will understand that it more meant that most msx(1) games only supported 1 button controllers (so as not to disappoint as you pointed out ) as the 2 button ones weren’t common enough (my father worked at Philips at the time so we had a LOOOT of MSX stuff around the house but we didn’t have 2 button controllers 🙂 )
