The Xbox 360 hacking scene has reached a new milestone in 2026. A look at the newest ABadAvatar 1.3 – a fork of the 1.3 Bad Update Exploit for Xbox 360 – a Software only Hypervisor Hack that we covered back in March 2025. In this new version it now brings instant boot on the sign-in screen on the Xbox 360! This 1.3 fork takes the ABadAvatar release and integrates Grimdoomer’s Bad Update 1.3 changes. And even cooler is the exploit can now be installed on a HDD or memory unit removing the need for a USB key completely.
