Mario continues jumping and avoiding enemies in the fortress. The level transitions to an area with brick platforms and castle windows in the background. More hazards and strategic jumping are needed to advance. (Mario navigates the fortress interior, dodging enemies and obstacles to advance further.) Mario, with the Super Leaf power-up, jumps and briefly flies in a room featuring brick structures and windows. He then enters a vertical passage between two brick walls, ascending upwards. (Mario obtains Super Leaf and can fly; Mario flies through a narrow passageway in Dark Land – World 8 – Fortress.)
