Ladies and gentlemen, gamers of every era, welcome to the VIDEO GAME HISTORY TIME WARP RANDOMIZER! I’m your host, and this is Episode 27!
The Randomizer has spun, the dials have clicked, and today it has dropped us into 2024! Two Steam releases are waiting on the other side of the portal, and one of them is going to test your brain while the other tests your hero.
In our first corner, we have Concentration, on Windows via Steam, available worldwide! It’s a game with a simple, ancient challenge: flip a card, flip another, and remember where everything is. Do you have the focus? Do you have the memory? Or will you spend the next ten minutes saying “wait, where was the other one?”
[SFX: Mythic horn blast, thunder rumble]
HOST: And in our second corner, we have 12 Labours of Hercules XVII: Feathered Fury, on Macintosh via Steam, also worldwide! That’s seventeen labours, folks! Hercules doesn’t take a day off. This time a comet is hurtling toward Earth, Aztec prophecies need cracking, and there’s a feathered serpent named Quetzalcoatl involved. That’s a Tuesday for Hercules.
HOST: One game is as classic as a deck of cards. The other is a seventeen-chapter mythological marathon. Both are waiting for us in the Time Warp!
